I tried this place for the first time. I was in the area and I’m glad I did. Steak burrito is what I had. Super tender meat and the flavor was second to none. Worth every penny of the $7.80 price tag.

Nachos were ok but a bit odd. Good price. 24 parts chips, 19 parts cheese, 2 parts tomatoes, 1 part beans.

The absolute best tortas anywhere! (Been coming here since the mid 90’s) (I order mine with ground beef and a scrambled egg and a little bit of the salsa from the chips). This place is my benchmark. Complimentary chips and salsa are delicious. The salsa is just the right amount of spicy. Friendly staff. You can watch them make the food. A hidden treasure in Lisle.

I ordered crispy tripe tacos. They were great. I also got a steak burrito that I ate later on. The steak was just ok. It tasted like cheap meat. The burrito tortilla was nice and chewy. The salsa's are the usual things you get. Green and red. I guess I would ask for the salsa they have with the chips instead.

The real OG Mexican food spot in my heart. Been going here for over 25 years and the food quality is always amazing!!!! This restaurant is located in a strip mall in a narrow space. The restaurant sits 30 people max but the experience is great. The great steak burrito is my goto, this has never let me down. Chips and salsa are great too and free if you dine in. If you are local, try this place out

Date: 24-May-2024 Time: Late dinner Total (before tip): $12.06 Payment type: cash Server: Take out order Grade: A+ I was in the mood for some Mexican and it was very late, so I knew this joint would open and had decent food. I placed an order of a chicken burrito, I like mine with only rice, beans, cilantro, onion and sour cream, double wrapped in the burrito shells (trust me, you will never eat burritos the same way, if you have never doubled wrapped!). It didn't take too long for it to come out, so I was on my way home! I got home and it was still hot! The chicken was excellently grilled and all the components played well with each other! The sour cream gave a cooling effect to the salsa. It was a great burrito! Overall an A+ experience! Will definitely be back!

Maybe because they were closing... But I ordered three chicken tacos and got Three steak tacos. The steak was a little chewy.
